In 2004, we hosted an outdoor boxing match featuring Laila Ali.

One of the things I’ve always been passionate about is widening the gap between sales and expenses.  Back when i ran a minor league baseball team in Maryland, it was always exciting to find ways to trim the budget of expenses – find ways to do more with less.  Equally as exciting was the challenge of creating new events at our stadium that would make money.  Each new event gave us the chance to generate income and cross promote our other events.

At the end of the day, I looked forward to seeing the financials from accounting that showed me how we were doing and how well our efforts were paying off.  I was motivated to perform and impress my bosses in Philadelphia that they’d made the right choice putting me in charge of their Double-A franchise.

I’m long removed from those days, but my passion for helping small business owners grow their business remains strong.

I really enjoy digging in and helping business owners widen their gap between sales and expenses. 

I believe this is where my greatest expertise lies.  I’m an idea guy, always have been.  I know how to make money and I’m good at helping business owners find new ways to market themselves.  I’m stingy when it comes to spending money and I really enjoy diving into financial statements, looking for ways to do things better and to trim the fat.

I already offer this service to my small business SEO clients and now I am offering it as an a la carte service.  I give you a fresh, objective look at your business.  I do it from the perspective of “anything is possible” and “let’s try it and find out.”  I’m conservative and I expect to see growth.  If your business needs more sales or if you’re teetering on the edge of going out of business, I would love to help you get it turned around.
